In all honesty, I never planned to make this post because I haven’t read the graphic novel series at all. But the cover sold me because I love how Percy (and Luke) turned out. So I’m anticipating this book almost completely because of the cover art — yes, I’m judging this book by it’s cover 😉

The Last Olympian: The Graphic Novel
Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Graphic Novels #5
by Rick Riordan and Robert Venditti
art by: Orpheus Collar and Antoine Dode
published on 13 August 2019
All year the half-bloods have been preparing for battle against the Titans, knowing the odds of victory are grim. Krono’s army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan’s power only grows. While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it’s up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the Lord of Time.
In this epic finale to the New York Times best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the long-awaited prophecy surrounding Percy’s sixteenth birthday unfolds. And as the battle for Western civilization rages on the streets of Manhattan, Percy faces a terrifying suspicion that he may be fighting against his own fate. Relive the showdown in this all-new graphic novel adaptation.
The Last Olympian is my favorite book of the Percy Jackson series. Knowing that the graphic novel has such an amazing cover that matches the story will of course make me super excited!! Honestly hope that the inside art is as good as the cover art so I’m gonna wait and grab a copy when it’s out!
If you’ve always wanted to try the Percy Jackson series and you love graphic novels, you might want to give this series a try! Leave a comment and let me know if you will pick this book up as well 🙂
